Who's the course designed for:
This course is invaluable for learning how to start making decisions onboard a yacht or powerboat and also to help understand what is going on when others take charge. By the end of the course you should have a sufficient knowledge to navigate a yacht or powered craft around familiar waters by day and night. This course is recommended for those wanting to brush up on existing navigation and skippering skills and those going on to do the Day Skipper Practical course on sail or powered vessels.

Are you a club, family, group or training centre?
We specialise in running training for clubs, centres and groups therefore we bring the training courses to you (any UK location).
We charge one flat rate (+ mileage at government rates + basic accomodation fees for those located outside of a 50 mile radius from Poole, Dorset) for any number of students from 1-10. The more students you put on the course, the more cost effective it is for you!
What do you need to provide?
A classroom or dry teaching area with adequate space for the number of students on the course, tables, chairs and a white board.

* Day Skipper student pack (includes Assessment papers, course notes, exercises, plotter, practice charts), RYA Training Almanac & RYA certificate fee package at £45-00 p.p. is charged in addition to course fee.
** Course fee breakdown worked on maximum numbers & based on us coming to your location within a 50 mile radius from Poole, Dorset (outside of this area will incur a standard government mileage rate charge).
